В своих работах Яна отражает реальность, ей интересна тема переноса объектов, эмоций в цифровой мир. Чаще всего она использует для воплощения идей визуальную графику. В проектах упор делается больше на техническую реализацию, нежели на концептуальную часть. Тем не менее с их помощью удается передать рутину и быт повседневной жизни, которые мы считаем неважными и бессмысленными. Ее сфера интересов затрагивает область погружения, создание иной атмосферы, полученной в результате впечатления, мимолетных эмоций от объекта, подобно импрессионизму. Этот опыт помогает передать ощущение реальности окружающего мира.
